Spectra Training (formally known as CLB Training & Development) has now added the ICP30210 Certificate III in Printing and Graphic Arts (Pre-Press) apprenticeship to its suite of courses.
Spectra Training’s latest course content offers a diverse range of topics such as Graphic Design, Illustrations, Photography, Scanning, Retouching, Page Layout and Imposition, Proofing, Colour Management, Workflow Management, Plate Making and Digital Printing.
“Our courses have a strong focus on colour management” said Spectra Training’s Lead Pre- Press Trainer, Trever Thomas. “As our industry increases attention on automated workflows, higher skills in colour management knowledge will allow operators to develop and manage a strong workflow.”

The Pre-Press qualification now consolidates Spectra Training’s Certificate III in Printing and Print Finishing Apprenticeship courses. Spectra Training’s print trainers specialise in lithography, flexography, gravure, heat-set and cold-set web, wide format and flat-bed digital, as well as general commercial, labels and packaging.
